Sunny Sunday

I am missing church this morning with an achy back and a nearly one-year-old who is....um....shall we say..no longer constipated. In between airing out my house and sitting on the heating pad, I thought I'd put an update here and in my kids' memory books which are woefully behind.

I'm supposed to write in their books for at least every birthday and my daughter turned 4 in September and I've yet to write for her fourth birthday. Since her big brother just turned 6 yesterday, I thought I'd better get caught up before it starts to snowball.

My hubby finished up his radiation treatments 2 weeks ago and is hoping to get back to work sometime next week. We have an appointment with a doctor to discuss Chemo tomorrow though. (He had a myxoid fibrous histocytoma removed at the end of July--stage 3 cancer) He's been doing incredibly well and the Lord has used our friends, church, and family to meet our needs. Hubby actually testified about the blessing of having cancer in church one Sunday. A mixed blessing to be sure, but an awesome way to see God at work!

I'd like to write more, but I better get on to writing in those books before the rest of the family comes home.
